I will see everybody in the new year.
My plans this eve are to spend time with family, good food, and maybe a good drink or two :). Who knows if I will make it untill 12 LOL, I have been up since 3:30, had to open the gym and teach a class. I am fixing to head to my moms and help her with dinner and some snacks for the evening.
Everybody be safe and do not get on the roads and drink and drive, remember to love yourself and others.

Here we are Christmas is over and the New Year is rolling in.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas; I had a very beautiful one and I still have family in, that I am visiting with tonight and through the new year. I wanted to stop in for a moment, because I am not sure how busy I will be this weekend, so I wanted to take this time to tell everyone to have a beautiful and safe weekend. I know for some, the new year party starts this weekend so be safe lol, lots of crazy people out on the roads. I plan on just spending time with family and I have a cousin in, that I grew up with, in from London.....she went there for schooling and ended up getting married, but to a very sweet person, but it has been 3 years and we are going to catch up a bit this weekend.
I will be here for a little on Monday, not really sure of my hours yet, I do teach at the gym, if anybody shows if not I will be around a bit earlier in the morning. How late I am staying, well that I am not sure of yet. I am helping my mom with dinner we are having new years eve and for little party snacks throughout the eve as we play games and just enjoy each others company, not sure what time I will be home or if I will be asleep before 12, lol I guess I am not a huge party girl, I am more of your cuddle up and enjoy whats going on and enjoying the wonderful things around me kinda gir. So I will post on Monday morn about what time I will be leaving. New Years day I plan on totally spending it with family before they return home that eve....and eating more good food lol, so I doubt I will be around New Years day. So if I do not see you between now and next Wednesday. Have a beautiful weekend, and a beautiful new years celebration and I hope whatever you all get into its fun, safe, and you all enjoy yourselves and I will see you on Wednesday, 2008!!!!

It is really hard to beleive that it is officialy 5 days untill Christmas. I have just a fewww ittyyy bitty things to finish up this weekend, and then start preparing some food for the Christmas eve party at moms. I plan on being here for a bit Christmas eve, due to family in and out, I will more then likely just be on for a little bit. So before I share a few more little things for Christmas I kinda wanted to give you my planned schedule, and well see how it turns out. I do not have to work the gym Christmas eve or day :) so I do plan on resting in a bit and then doing a few little things Christmas eve morn. Christmas eve morn I am going to try to be here right at about 10 am central time, now if anything was to happen I will post a big WHY blog lol, but let's hope everything stays calm and smooth.....but then I will only be on for a couple hours. I can not really give a time range there, I guess be, between 1 and 3, really does depend on how much I get prepared on Sunday and Monday morning, I may need to leave around 1 or 2 to finish getting things ready, I do need to head to mom's around 3 though, so that I can help get everything set up there and take pressy's. I just can't wait to see smiling faces, when they open pressy's hee hee; I just get so excited, giving gifts. Christmas day though I will not be here, I do plan on stopping by to say a hello to everyone, but that day will be strictly for my family and enjoying, hopefully just some relaxing time. Then for the rest of the week things should fall into about normal. My family is staying through new years, and we are planning movies the following Friday, but I will still be leaving about my normal time for a Friday. New years eve and New Years really do fall just like Christmas and Christmas eve. I do teach at the gym New Years eve but not New Years, but it will be the same plan as on Christmas eve and day, I will be here for a few and of course my mom is having a huge party!!! I am not a party like club girl, but I do enjoy getting together with family, and having a blast, we play games, eat, talk drink..... much better then any club to me......I guess I am the girl next door, laying out in the sun, on a float, in the pool, smelling a rose, is my kinda thing...but anyhow I will quit dreaming of summer, and hey I might get a white Christmas after all, they are calling for a little bit of snow my way, I did ask Santa for that, and speaking of snow here is a fun little Christmas idea!
FROSTY POTS: Spray paint a plastic garden pot black using a product that is well made for plastic lol, then take and stencil a large snowflake on the pot or paint multiple sizes and shapes: snowflake stencils are so easy to find at the stores this time of year.....but take care removing the stencil that you are using from the pot, pull the tap slowly so it doesnt take off the paint......I also love to use paperwhite flowers in these this time of year they look lovely by a door!!! Things you need for this project are plastic garden pots in your favorite size, potting soil, your favorite flowers, snowflake stencils, silver paint (acrylic craft paint is the best).....also a bag of faux snow and spray adhesive to put snow around the edges of the pot when you are all done!

Candy Cane Milk
Use seedless strawberry or rasberry jam, or fruit flavoured syrup to create this treat. To make the stripes in your glass, spread the jam or syrup inside of the glass, if using the jam a narrow spatula or knife work best syrup u can draw in lines from the bottle! Then pour cold milk into the glass the stripes hold for about 20 mins..unless you are curled up by a fire hee hee then it last about 10-15 mins!! Also served underneat the Christmas Tree naked LOL so make sure your tree is big enough......Love Elona
I just love Christmas.....Isn't it fun to peek at Christmas time? To peek in the windows of jewlery stores, under the tree at presents...You know it's Christmas when your whole neighborhood is decked out in red, from ribbons to ornaments, to-best of all-poinsettias, I had a lovly weekend, doing all kinds of Christmas things, and trying to choose what poinsettias I wanted, my goodness they are all so beautiful and this year some of the stores had added a bit of sprayed glitter to some of the leaves! Poinsettias are just great for everybody wether your busy, busy, busy, or suprising somebody with one just to get an extra kiss under the mistletoe!! Most people think of pinesttias in pots but they also make so many other great ideas, I love using them in arrangements all over the house, but there is a trick to making them last all month long in arrangements and you can do it!!! THIS trick is searing the stems with a candle flame which will help keep the floweres fresh for over 10 days and I have had some go 3 weeks and the arrangements look sooo pretty with Virgina Pine clipped right out of the woods! but its nice to keep a couple poinsettias around to clip off of for arrangements!
DID YOU KNOW? The pretty blossoms of pinsettias (well what most people consider blooms) are really colorful leaves called "bracts",the actual flower are the small yellow buds in the center.
OHH and HEY while your decorating don't forget your porch, Take your holiday decorating outside, and put a second tree on your porch! String the outdoor lights and trim the tree with pinecones, berries, holly sprigs and favorite oranaments that dont mind the winter chill and I clip them all from the yard :)...Potted Pink poinsettisas ad mini pineapples embellished with sprigs of boxwood right from the yard itself lol, really will perk up the look even more and you can have so much fun with it!!

makes 1 serving and takes you about 5 mins :)....6 dried cranberries for each glass, so if you plan on having more LOL bring out those cranberries!!1 3/4 cup of champagne or a sparkling wine but of course I am planning on more then that *giggles* HERE WE GO..Place your cranberries in a pretty champagne flute and pour the Champagne over the cranberries, I must say for this one serve IMMEDIETLY and grab another LOL

So here we are on a Friday and I thought would be fun to do a little something different, and well Pookie agreed. Needless to say she was not very happy about the hat and having to sit still LOL she wanted to bounce around and look like a big bundle of fur. She is a mess, but a fun spoiled mess. I also managed to get some really, I think incredible pictures of her in her santa hat too LOL, but she was like I wanna run I wanna runnnnnn. So hope to have someof those posted next week. I also thought to pick up my pictures from Walmart. I love film cameras, one because I scrapbook and I just love taking the pics and then picking them up, shopping through the store, thinking about how I will put them in my book, then they are fun to share with all of you.....but on another note I hope you enjoy the little fun Christmas suprise from me and Pookie!!!
Hey there, thought I would step in for just a moment before my day got busy.......a nice Saturday, I did sleep in and then stripped my bed down like I do most Saturday morns and it's in the wash...mmmm love that feeling when I crawl in tonight hee hee. So as I am doing a few odds and ends around the house it is kinda cloudy outside, so waiting for that to clear off. There is not many leaves in the yard so if I do decide to get my leaf sucker out LOL that won't take long, the only thing I really have planned for the day, is to get some more candies made for Christmas, and then get outside in the yard a bit, it has actually warmed up some and I am gonna take advantage of that and try to finish staining the wooden rail fence, wheww its gonna be a job, but take my time and if I don't finish I am sure there will be a few other days left, was just kinda wanting to get it done before the holidays, when family was all in, but no biggie. So after all the little things are done I believe I am gonna hit the grocery store and get some food in, I am trying to get stuff stocked in lol, family eats a lot!!! Sunday well looks like I am gonna get out and about myself and hit a few stores and try to finish up some of this Christmas shopping, is it not scary, 2 weeks after this weekend and it will be here!!!! OK gonna get my hiney on the ball!

The holidays are rolling in so fast, and it;s time to hang the mistletoe, I do beleive it is time for sweet kisses and warm festive fires!
Mistletoe has always seemed to be part of the holidays and what would a kiss without it be? It says fun and giggles; but did you know hundreds of years ago....Mistletoe was considered a symbol of peace. If enemies met under it, they dropped their arms and declared a truce; *sigh* if only we could find a whole bunch of mistletoe this Christmas big enough to hang over this world of ours!!!
So I think its time for a fun holiday tip...if your giving a bottle of wine for the holidays..mmmm those make me all giggly and horny but mm hmm on another note here is some fun ways to dress up your bottle of wine for the fun one in your life, instead of a plain ole bag
1. Trim it WITH CHEER...Drop a twig wreath dressed with herbs or greens around the neck and tie a bow!
2. Jingle all THE WAY...Ahh yes this one is sweet, Present a seasonal sound with jingle bells tied to a ribbon yarn or string!
3. This is a true CLASS ACT...Add this personal touch to a gift: Print a facy initial on a card for a sweet monogram tag!
4. PARTY TIME...Ring in the Seasons with a bottle wrapped with streamers and a confetti-filled pouch!!!

Here is a festive twist on your classic veggies and dip appertizers. On a large platter arrange broccoli florets in the shape of a Christmas tree. Trim the tree with sweet yellow peppers cut in stare shapes, or little strips, radishes or cherry tomatoes also add some fun and color, and a snowy base of cauliflower...Mmmm yummy dip in and have fun with this one!!!

Suprises. That's what makes this time of year truly special. Little treasures stuffed in stockings, packages with big bows, and unexpected visits from people we love! Christmas, I love traditions! They make life easy by showing us the way things have been done so we dont' have to think for ourselves; but finding new things to make a tradition can be exciting...again I am here to share a few of my favorite things this December month...and maybe you can enjoy them also and make them your traditions!
December, it ushers in the ultimate season of sweets and love, cuddles by the fire place sipping on hot cocoa and enjoying things that are just wonderful like this Brittle Fondue...........Microwave 1 (12-oz.) package of semisweet chocolate morsels and 3/4 cup of yummy to your tummy whipping cream hee hee in a medium microwave safe glass bowl at HIGH for 1 minute, whisking once after 30 seconds, Whisk untill smooth. Transfer to a fondue pot and serve with peanut or pecan brittle...this makes about 8 servings and takes only about 5 mins so for those unexpected visits, or with that special someone orrrrrrrrr even licked off nipples, OHHH MY this is fun and yumm:) lol***While peanut brittle is readily available at most stores this time of year that yummy pecan brittle is sometimes harder to find unless you make it, but remeber the Internet is always a great source of searching for something you like!

Enjoy! I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend, I am off to do some shopping with my girlfriends today, getting people checked off my Christmas list, but wanted to share a few sayings and some things from my heart!
