Well between the yard work and some rest, I had a rather very interesting weekend, and hopefully will involve some more fun to the outdoor shows this year....my dads wife as always does get rid of stuff, so I tend to be the taker of things. It has been awhile but I remember her getting one of the small outdoor tubs, little hot tub, but now she decided she needed a great big one, so the little one made its way to my house, I cleaned it all up, and put it on the patio area, right off the porch, and its rather close to the pool, which I think will make outdoor shows even more fun this year, if I get cold well I could warm up! I will have pictures soon, and I hope very soon to be doing the outdoor shows, just waiting on the temps to even out..........
So besides that and dealing with getting the little hot tub in place I did manage to rest a bit, I slept in Saturday and Sunday, I believe my body needed some laying around, and then I did managed to do a little mulch and some planting of some new azaleas and ground covers, and then just got out and about this weekend doing a few girly things....I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend, and stop in and tell me about it.....

Well I was very busy this weekend, along with just getting out and about and enjoying the beautiful weather. I am sorry I did not take time to post a little, but when I finally got in at night, I was just tired and ready for a long hot shower and then soaking in the bath tub. I believe I got my window boxes completely filled with all the flowers they can take, can not wait until they are over spilled after growing for a bit. I also was on the search for some stakes to put in my great big planters I got, and ended up finding some beautiful marble ones on sale at hobby lobby, with a few other things!
With that being said.
I had a beautiful weekend, got lots done in my yard, I did not even mind mowing :) always a couple hour job, but taking my time and soaking up the sun, then laying out in the field looking at all the beauty around me. I hope soon I will start some outdoor shows, but the pool does need to warm up a bit more, along with mornings, can be very chilly in the mornings, but the time will get there.
I hope everybody had a beautiful weekend, and well now it is back to 3:30 mornings, but the sun and the flowers blooming right outside my window, make things so beautiful around me.......................

Well it has been a nice week, although I am not crazy about my 3:30 mornings and teaching aerobics, this week seemed to go very nice, nothing to wild and crazy. And of course I love to come hang out the rest of my days with all of you!
So what is on the
weekend agenda? Lots of flowers of course, I am still working on my window boxes and then, I do need to take pics of my new planters I got, I have ben yapping about, they are just beautiful. So other then that.............
I will be doing some yard work, been really working on my grass in the yard and field this year, lots of weed and feed lol, so gonna mow and toss some more grass seed down at some point and maybe work in my veggie garden getting a few more things in. LETS SEE other then that I really want to get out and about tomorrow morn, while there is a chance of rain, and just do some girly things, little shopping,maybe hit Starbucks and see what the spring cool drinks are, and hit hobby lobby, they are having a sale, so just go do some girl things, and then house things call. I will check in this weekend like always, before my big bubble baths in the eves, and let you know how the weekend is going, and then I will see you all back here on Monday, bright and early after the gym....gonna try sleep in a bit this weekend!

SOOO after a busy and yet very nice weekend. Monday has come, and even though, it was up at 3:30 and out the door to get to the gym, I was excited about my manicure and hair highlights, now, I get a manicure every 4 weeks anyhow, but usually not much done to my hair, except the occasional trim and layers....but today I got highlights.
So they are called peekaboo highlights, where they are done under instead of on top the hair, which I like a lot...so here is a peek at my new highlights, she used 3 different colors throughout my hair, a blonde, a caremel and then i think it was coffee and blended...........
I had a nice weekend, got everything done outside, and I need to get pictures of my new planters with flowers, to heavy to lift, so I will make sure get some pics, this winter, I might fell them with some pines of some sort, all depends, need something in them after summer passes..............possibly......

So yesterday was busy, getting everything done outdoors, and the yard is just coming together so beautiful...I ended up going back to Lowes for 2 more of the big planters, after seeing how beautiful the one set was on the steps to the front porch I knew I needed another set, and they are just amazing, I have my 2 topiary pines and then 4 planters cascading down the steps, I have been wanting a little something else, and now I am just sooo tickled with how beautiful it is...
With the weather being a little chillier..............
I did take and cover my new flowers in planters, do not want them to get hurt, they were to heavy for me to carry in and then took and placed my ferns across porch, down and covered those, crazy it is spitting a little snow tonight.................I just did odds and ends today, and got my groceries, Ohh and I did find an adorable summer dress...I will more then likely wear it one day this week.........well I am off to take a nice hot bubble bath and relax for the rest of the eve, and have some pizza hee hee, so I will see you all a bit later tomorrow morn, remember getting my hair and nails done........

For most of you, you know about the storms, and some cleanup and fixing I had to do today, so that is all done, barn roof..fixed, fence..fixed, I also found while out and about 2 beautiful planters full of flowers, I added to my front porch steps, and also did some odds and ends along with today's repairs, I tossed some more grass seed, a fertilizer, and weed killer to the yard, and finished filling some of my flower boxes....
So now I am fixing to take a nice hot shower, and my girlfriend and I picked up the new Tuscani pasta from pizza hut and the Water Horse movie, and well its my time to relax. I will be out and about doing some more yard work tomorrow and running some errands.
Monday I am getting my manicure and my hair highlights, so I will be running late....
See you all Monday afternoon, I may stop in and let you all know how my Sunday went...

Alrighty, pictures are taken, and power seems to be hanging in there ok. I went ahead and ordered me some food for this eve, I say things will take longer for it to come tonight, but I really do not mind waiting......its crazy, the calm after the storm, when the sun comes out and everything is coated with soft water drops.
I am still smiling, again I feel so lucky to have just a few little things out of place, and the house seems to be in place......On that I know what I will be doing this weekend *giggles*
And well that's not resting, like I wanted to hehehe, or shopping ok so maybe a little shopping :), there was a few little things around the house I wanted to get to, but looks like in that process I will be helping dad help me fix the few things that got knocked around in the wind today!
With that no storms for the weekend, all sun until Sunday night, I will be outdoors, and safe :) well as safe as I can be. I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend, and I hope to get my stuff done, and I will keep you updated through out the weekend, of how things are going......love you all bunches!!
Hey everybody, tornados and severe weather hit the area earlier, I have been without power for awhile, but seem to have gotten it back for least 10 minutes now, I do need to go access the damage outside, and then I will try to make it back...I do know I have fence down, barn roof blown off and downed trees across from me, I need to go take a good look at the area, and take some pictures.....gonna get stuff repaired this weekend, but need it for the insurance to turn in....so far as I know the house didn't get any damage, but you can come see me when I am back online...I will see you in a few if the electric hangs in there....I will be on and off this eve, my nerves are a bit Rattled!
The weather this week has been absolutely breath taking, open windows. flowers blooming, I am just so in love with spring...even though that brings storms, and a little bit of a cool down for the weekend; but that will be nice weather for getting a few things done outside. I hope everyone is having a nice week and sweet plans for the weekend.
I am so ready for swimming weather though, and hitting the lake and jet skiing and boating. I live for that stuff in the summertime. On that note since we are sharing some thigh highs, fishnets, and heels this week, well here are a few of my favorite things.

So on that I thought it would be fun to share a pair of my thigh highs, since this topic seems to be fishnets and heels, thought would be fun to share a few of each this week!

So there has been a lot of talk lately of fur, and I just wanted to give my view, opinions, and feelings. One letting people know that just because I love fur, does not make me a cruel person, or any other person....I feel everyone is entitled to their opinions, but loving fur, does not make a person *CRUEL* I think that is hmm... judgmental, and judging people. It is just like a person might like meat, or just veggies, *vegetarians* that does not make a meat eater *CRUEL*, so I think people should not use that phrase when talking about FUR...or anything else a person may or may not like. Everyone is different
On that note, lets talk about the other part of how I feel, I agree that if you love fur, and to have fur..that I do not agree that anything should be killed in a *CRUEL* way, things should be handled with care and its just like the meat handling places that have been closed down for being cruel to the cattle, but just because we have maybe ate the meat there does not make us cruel. I do not think, anything should be treated cruelly, one I am an animal lover...but I do love fur...I was raised on a farm, where animals were raised for food, and my grandfather and my dad, and other family hunted; we had bear rugs and fur around, sweet fur coats for in the winter time....Ok on that being said....I do not think exotic animals, tigers, lions anything like that should ever be killed for its fur, endangered species, now that I think is sad, animals are to be loved and enjoyed....but rabbit, sheep, deer etc. I think it is more cruel to let animals over populate, and die of disease and hunger....to me having a fur blanket and a coat, is not called cruel....but again everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I do say...do not judge me for eating meat, and having a fur blanket...THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME CRUEL!
So that is all I have to say about that........I do have one more thing....fur does feel good when your laying on it NAKED....ok I am done LOL!
That is what it is here, and was most of the weekend. I really love this weather, all the windows can be open, a beautiful soft breeze blowing through the house, the smell of flowers blowing in...I love it!
I am totally a warm spring and summer fan! I love the outdoors, just love it.
So the pool is ready, and I had a very busy past weekend.
But even though it was busy it was good, I worked in my flower gardens, I mowed, and the new glass door to the screened in porch got put in.....I have to say I kicked back yesterday morning for a few when I got home, just to take all the hard work in!
I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend, and I hope your week ahead of you is great! I already have some yard plans for this next weekend, maybe get some more veggie plants out, and my dad is helping me finish up a few projects. I know one thing, I am ready to get out on the lake this year! I am just itching to get out and jet ski or lay out in the sun topless somewhere hee hee.

Howdy Partners LOL!!
So I am gonna be a busy country girl this weekend. Hope to get the new door to screened in porch in, and put some more flowers in the window boxes this weekend, and if it is warm enough put on these cut off shorts of mine and do a little mowing, and catch some sunshine!
I will stop in to see how things are going this weekend and check messages and all, and maybe do a little posting! It seems like a have a lot going on and a lot to get done around home, and I am looking so forward to sitting outside with you guys this summer! So I have a few things I want to share, and will probably do that in some blogs next week...you know a few of my favorite things.
Anyhow, I hope everyone has a great weekend, and well while your out and about maybe enjoying some sunshine....think if me in my short shorts ;) they are coming out soon!
Well it was an interesting evening, my new door come in at Lowe's for the front porch, I had ordered what was to be a screen door, full wood bottom, my other full screen door to the front screened in porch, well it had seen it's last day over Easter weekend. so I ordered a new one, and one I really liked and have patiently waited for it to come in now for about 2 weeks!
So........................
I get into Lowe's, the door is already paid for and I thought you know before I leave this store I should take a look, now the rest of the porch and everything is stained an English walnut color, so the door needs stained, which I planed on coming home tonight and doing, no problem, when I ordered the door I stressed, I NEED WOOD *giggles ok a dirty thought entered for a moment *anyhow*, I have to stain it to match the rest of my house, ok ok the Lowe's feller stressed it was wood, I open the box and what do I see PLASTIC, Ohhhh you did not want to see my temper flare as I stood there looked the guy in the face and said well nice how am I suppose to stain plastic? LOL, he almost look dumfounded his self, so as he was calling the company, I was walking around and saw a glass door, wood, and it was also a special order return, that happened to match my measurements to screened in porch, and cheaper, I suppose marked down because it was a special order return, after a little bit of discussion, a call to my dad, because he is putting it in, well the new wooden and glass door is now stained and sitting in the barn waiting to be put in..............I do believe it is sometimes neat how things turn out, this door is beautiful , really gonna set things off, I will take pics don't worry!:)
