MissyLou called me earlier this morning to tell me that her computer is at Best Buy with a dead hard drive. It seems she has opted to have her drive recovered instead of replaced since apparently the DaVinci Code was on her computer. Anyhow, she will be back soon and says Hi to everyone.
I got accused of being a little to "matter of fact" in my last posting on this subject. I was even accused of being "pissy" in my statements, so I thought I'd erase my last post and do it again with a little different caveat. The core question is this: "Is there less traffic on some days, like weekends?" The answer is a very positive "No". The traffic at Girl Time is extremely steady. But as I said in my last post, I understand that the Internet if full of bullshit artists that will lie to make their point, so I'm willing to pull back the veil of secrecy and share with everyone the site statistics for Girl Time captured directly from my Google Analytics account. Have a look at the graphic below:
As you can see by following the arrows from top to bottom, Girl Time, over the past 28 days, has had 32,196 visits including 10,508 new visitors. But the really interesting thing is that thin blue line in the background running horizontally. Each dot in the line represents one day in the 4 weeks. Notice how steady the line is? That means that there is the same amount of traffic every day of the week, even Saturday and Sunday! It literally doesn't matter what day you are on Girl Time, every day is the same. The only thing that this graph doesn't show is the time of day that the traffic is coming.
If you just look at the raw data, you could easily conclude that once every 75 seconds a new visitor come to Girl Time, however, that information can't be put into any practical use because the flow of traffic is heavier in the late afternoon and early evenings than it is in the late night or early mornings. About 80% of our traffic occurs between 12 noon eastern and 12 midnight eastern, so during that time, one visitor every 40 seconds is more realistic.
I hope this clears up any mysteries for the ladies wondering when to come out and play with us. Stick yourself on cam for any six hour span between 12 noon and 12 midnight eastern and you will have plenty of action from the best guys on the Internet.
Since October marks the 12th anniversary of Girl Time and Net foxes, I thought it would be interesting to show a few pages from back when all of this was brand new. I'll try to show a couple pages each week. The links on the pages have been disabled because the navigation in those days is too time consuming to reproduce, so you'll have to use your browser's back button to return to this post. Other than that, I have left the pages completely intact. I hope that this brings back some fond memories of the early days of the Internet and how crude pages looked back then.
1. The first page I'd like to show you is the original cover from the October 1995 issue of Fantasy Foxes Online. There was never a site called FantasyFoxes.com, it was actually the name of my nude stripper outcall service. Fantasy Foxes Online was split into GirlTime.com for pictures and Netfoxes.com for our new dialup video teleconferencing service. At the time I created this page on my 486 dx-2 66 computer running windows 3.1 and using the original Hot Dog web page editor, Fantasy Foxes Outcall had been in business for over 7 years and girltime.com served more as an online portfolio of entertainers that would come to your house or hotel and dance naked for you. Every photograph on the site was taken by me of girls that worked for me in my office. The blonde girl you see on the logo was actually my secretary for several years. Here's the page
2. The next page I'd like to show you is the very first ad for our dialup video teleconferencing service first shown in October 1995. Back in those days, live video on the web as we know it today simply didn't exist. Users of Girl Time and Netfoxes had to download and install the software and then connect without knowing who they were getting. The fact that you never knew who you were getting didn't matter, the novelty of it all was enough to carry the interest all the way to about 1998 when live web preview was added. I get a kick out of the fact that I had to actually convince guys that it was really live. Here's the page
3. Can you believe that we even had our own "900" phone chat line! It's true and I even made an early attempt at creating an interactive advertisement using the only technology available at the time. I also experimented with letting other phone sex services advertise on my site (the "nasty bitch" one), but the ad was a little too "in your face" for me and I soon stopped giving space to other services. Hope you get as big of a laugh as I did when I found them. And no, I don't own phonse sex services anymore. Here are the pages
